We warmly invite you to a guided tour of Barbara Gocníková’s solo exhibition Broken Altar (Isolation of Father)on 19 August at 6 pm.

The exhibition’s curator, Ágnes Keszegh, and the artist will lead the guided tour together, taking a closer look at the exhibition’s deeply personal themes of family, inherited patterns and underlying power dynamics, while also considering how these intimate experiences resonate with the broader historical context of Eastern Europe. At the centre of the exhibition is the figure of the father and his relationship with the rest of the family.
