We warmly invite you to the opening of our newest group show Features of the Living on 11 December at 6 pm, curated by Tímea Urbantsok. The exhibition presents works by Zsófia Antalka, Joerg Hurschler, Edouard-Marc and Cecil Serres, reflecting on the nature of living beings, the essential criteria that constitute life, and the boundaries through which it can be defined.

Tímea Urbantsok is a curator, researcher and art critic. She is also the co-founder of hECTIC bOOKs, a photobook publishing house. She was born and raised in Budapest, and started her exhibition studies at the curatorial department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. Later, in Paris, she continued with a master’s degree in the same field. To this date, she has been invited to curate six exhibitions—three in Paris and three in Budapest. Her research interests include the philosophy of science, and the history and anthropology of labor and artistic work. She publishes in three languages and currently runs a column on Eastern European photography at the Parisian magazine L’Oeil de la Photo. She has worked at Glassyard Gallery Budapest, as well as in the program organization of the Parisian exhibition and atelier space Le Houloc.
